Google Analytics : Real- Time & Audience brief explanation.

At my previous blog, we have taken tour of a brief overview of Google Analytics & had gone through some important concepts.  In these articles, we are going to cover some essential useful functions of Google Analytics & discussed their advantage & Role in Analytics.

What type of data you will get in Real-time function:  

Real-time function in Google Analytics allow us to identify & track the current user data or activity performed by the visitor on our website by moment to moment.  This function is useful to provide insights website data how does your visitor playing on your website.

Real-time function data for any digital marketer or online business holder to analyze the behavior of the user or Visitor and accordingly improve our website activity in a much better way.  

At the moment you used to with to analyze the buying behavior of your visitor reaction, then you can take an effective decision towards website changes & their updates.

These are some Real-time sub-functions & their importance:
1. Overview:
    
Overview is sub-function under Real-time in Google Analytics.  Overview function shows us a complete picture in which includes How many visitors are currently on our website, on which pages their stick with or spending time, overall traffic source & top searching keyword.

2. Location:

A most important feature in Google Analytics to track & analyze the from which location your traffic is coming or lading on your website.  These location data helps to filter them out the data by country to country.

3. Traffic Source:

The traffic source functions help to determine from which medium or sources most visitors are getting land on our websites like Facebook, Twitter, web browser or another platform.  By the help of traffic source data, we can be changed our strategy towards that particular platform or medium, And improve our activity to get more
Traffic form that particular source.

4. Content:

The Content Data shows us to on which page or sub-page a visitor spending more time which Includes Page titles, Page links or URL And Active users.  These data lead to knowing us which content or page is performing better so we can improve it & convert into best, and similarly, we also track un-performing page or content to make it better.

5. Events:

At the context of Google Analytics, Events is the user interaction or activity in pop-ups available on the webpage which records in Events like fill the form, download E-book, etc. (Infographic)


Audience Report Data:

Audience Report Generate the data of Audience who perform the common activity performed by multiple users in a particular time span.
The Audience section of Google Analytics is an extensive one, with no fewer than fifteen sub-sections sitting within it, most of those with several different reports by following:

1.Overview:

The Audience Overview data show us the Overview tab is a graph of the number of sessions performed by website users.  The Overview tab is a form a graph of the which include numbers of sessions performed by website users.

2. Demographics:

The demographic overview provides information about Age, Gender. You can access all type of different age group & genders type to help us identify the which age group & gender type are mostly likely to convert.

3. Interest;

What your website visitors curious about?
The interest overview shows you that only.

4. Geo:

The Geolocation drive the data of location & language of website visitors. While the Language and Location categories both show the standard charts showing the acquisition, behavior and conversions data, the Location portion also has a map feature that help visually displays your visitors’ locations & related data.

5. Behavior:

The Behaviour reports tell you more about how often a visitor comes to your website, how many days on average it is between sessions for repeat visitors, how long time visitors performing activities on your website and how many pages they visit while they’re there.

6.Technology:

Technology Reports drives the information about from which browser your visitor use to land on the website whether is Google chrome, Mozilla, Internet Explorer, etc. If your into Online business which creates online software, you can use this to gauge whether you should be creating Chrome extensions or Mac-based desktop applications.

7. Mobile:

In Mobile Overview report provide you the number of desktops, mobile and tablet users who playing with your site. The Mobile Devices category report shows you exactly what devices those visitors are using to access your website.

8.Custome:

In Custome report, you have to define your own variables and metrics to create a report.
Here it's not that easy like the above report.
